#SAJGIVING HAS ENDED BUT THERE IS STILL TIME TO MAKE A GIFT HERE!
Epsilon-Mu (The University of Tulsa)
Support Kappa Sigma at the University of Tulsa!

This Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving, March 1-3, we're asking you to make a tax-deductible donation to support a cause near and dear to the Epsilon-Mu Chapter– the creation of a new Scholarship-Leadership Award named in honor of Brother Greg A. Hopeman. 100% of your gift, in the amount of $10.34, $50.34, $150.34, $340, $3,400, or $34,000, or any amount you wish to give will help fund this special scholarship.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to establish a permanent $2,000 annual Scholarship in Brother Hopeman's name that will benefit an Epsilon-Mu Chapter Brother every year in perpetuity. In the event Epsilon-Mu does not reach the $50,000 threshold during the Weekend but reaches $25,000, it will automatically create a $1,000 annual Scholarship-Leadership Award. All amounts raised shy of $25K between or over $50K will directed to the existing Chapter Scholarship Fund to benefit Epsilon-Mu undergraduates.

Brother Gregory A. Hopeman is a 1972 initiate of the Epsilon-Mu Chapter at the University of Tulsa.  Brother Hopeman served as Grand Master while at the Epsilon-Mu Chapter.  Brother Hopeman was instrumental in helping get the Epsilon-Mu Chapter Scholarship Fund started and continued his efforts in helping the housing corporation lead two successful capital campaigns.  Brother Hopeman’s continued Kappa Sigma service was cemented by serving as a Trustee for the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund.

Brother Hopeman has had a successful career in the financial industry, where he retired as the Market Head at UBS Financial Services for multiple markets (Oklahoma City, Okla; Little Rock, Ark.; Tyler, Texas; and Fort Worth, Texas, all while managing and growing the Tulsa, Okla. office). Prior to joining UBS, he had served as Resident Vice President at several financial industry firms, and several positions while at Merrill Lynch.

Brother Hopeman has been a great example to Alumni and Undergraduates alike that Kappa Sigma is for life.  He has continued to live the ideals of our ritual.  He has always given his time and treasures to Graduating Seniors, Alumni Dinners, resume workshops, and helping plan Chapter reunions.  The Gregory A. Hopeman Scholarship Leadership Award will be given out annually to an Epsilon-Mu Undergraduate who excels in scholarship, leadership, community service, and ritual, all of which reflect the example Brother Hopeman has provided.

Now is the time to rally behind this historic initiative and honor the lasting legacy of Brother Greg A. Hopeman. Donate Now!
