This Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving, March 6-8, we're asking you to make a tax-deductible donation to support a cause near and dear to the Mu-Psi Chapter– the creation of a new Scholarship-Leadership Award named in honor of Brother Timothy L. Hall. 100% of your gift, in the amount of $10.34, $50.34, $150.34, $340, $3,400, or $34,000, will help fund this special scholarship.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to establish a permanent $2,000 annual Scholarship in Brother Hall's name that will benefit a Mu-Psi Chapter Brother every year in perpetuity. When the Mu-Psi Chapter reaches $25,000 raised during the weekend, it will automatically create a $1,000 annual Scholarship-Leadership Award.
For nearly 40 years, Brother Hall has been the heart of the Mu-Psi Chapter at Boston University. An integral part of the chapter’s founding, Brother Hall has remained a constant presence ever since—steady, dependable, and deeply invested in the men who have called Mu-Psi home. To hundreds of alumni across generations, he is more than a familiar face; he is a trusted friend, a mentor, and the person who has always been there when it mattered most. His impact extends beyond the chapter as well, earning him the respect and affection of the broader Boston University community.
Brother Hall’s legacy is defined by service and the way he gives of himself without hesitation—showing up again and again with encouragement, practical help, and an unwavering belief in others. In recognition of his nearly four decades of volunteer service to Kappa Sigma, his selflessness and dedication, and his endlessly positive demeanor through the years, we are honored to establish this scholarship in his name. Through it, Brother Hall’s example will continue to shape lives, supporting future students with the same care and commitment he has shown for generations.

There is no risk to participating in this special Named Scholarship because all amounts raised shy of $25K between or over $50K will be directed to the existing Chapter Scholarship Fund to benefit Mu-Psi undergraduates.
Scholarship-Leadership Award Applications open on September 1st every year, and winners are announced on December 10th.
