This Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving, March 6-8, we're asking you to make a tax-deductible donation to support a cause near and dear to the Epsilon-Mu Chapter– the creation of a new Scholarship-Leadership Award named in honor of Brother Ted C. Sherwood. 100% of your gift, in the amount of $10.34, $50.34, $150.34, $340, $3,400, or $34,000, will help fund this special scholarship.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to establish a permanent $2,000 annual Scholarship in Brother Sherwood's name that will benefit an Epsilon-Mu Chapter Brother every year in perpetuity. $100,000 raised will double the annual scholarship amount to $4,000!

Theodore "Ted" C. Sherwood is a 1974 initiate of the Epsilon-Mu Chapter whose impact on Kappa Sigma has spanned decades. Upon returning to Tulsa, Brother Sherwood stepped into the role of Alumni Advisor and, for many years, served as a trusted mentor, counselor, and advocate to generations of Epsilon-Mu brothers, guiding young men as they developed into principled leaders both within the Chapter and beyond.
Under his guidance, Epsilon-Mu achieved national recognition, earning multiple FACE Awards and numerous other honors. After passing the torch as Alumnus Advisor, he worked alongside fellow alumni to revive and strengthen the Housing Corporation and led significant capital campaigns that preserved and improved the Chapter house, positioning it for future generations of brothers.
Professionally, Ted has built an exceptional legal career and is consistently recognized as one of Oklahoma's top attorneys. He is the founder of Sherwood & Robert and Accord Mediation & Arbitration, where he has earned a reputation for integrity, wisdom, and steady leadership within the legal community.
Above all, Brother Sherwood's legacy is defined not simply by titles or accolades but by the countless brothers he has mentored, encouraged, and impacted over the years. His dedication to Epsilon-Mu reflects the lifelong commitment of a true Beloved Brother, and it is fitting that we honor him with a scholarship that will continue to invest in the future leaders he has worked so tirelessly to shape.
Now is the time to rally behind this historic initiative and honor the lasting legacy of Brother Ted Sherwood, IV. Donate Now!
There is no risk to participating in this special Named Scholarship because all amounts raised will benefit Epsilon-Mu undergraduates.
Scholarship-Leadership Award Applications open on September 1st every year, and winners are announced on December 10th.
