Theta-Omicron (Muskingum University)
Support Kappa Sigma at Muskingum!

This Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving, March 1-3, we're asking you to make a tax-deductible donation to support a cause near and dear to the Theta-Omicron Chapter– the creation of a new Scholarship-Leadership Award named in honor of Brother Lynn M. Welker. 100% of your gift, in the amount of $10.34, $50.34, $150.34, $340, $3,400, or $34,000, will help fund this special scholarship.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to establish a permanent $2,000 annual Scholarship in Brother Welker's name that will benefit a Theta-Omicron Chapter Brother every year in perpetuity. In the event Theta-Omicron does not reach the $50,000 threshold during the Weekend but reaches $25,000, it will automatically create a $1,000 annual Scholarship-Leadership Award. All amounts raised shy of $25K between or over $50K will directed to the existing Chapter Scholarship Fund to benefit Theta-Omicron undergraduates.

Brother Lynn M. Welker is an August 30th, 1980, initiate of the Theta-Omicron Chapter at Muskingum.  He graduated in 1970 with a BA in History and a Music minor. Brother Welker is self-employed as the owner of Margaret Lane Antiques, his family business founded in New Concord in 1954.  Brother Welker served as the Alumnus Advisor to the Theta-Omicron Chapter for 23 years from 1983 until 2006. Hundreds of Theta-Omicron initiates know him fondly as “Lynnwood.”

Brother Welker was the first recipient of the Chapter’s Distinguished Service Commendation in April 2019. Brother Welker was bestowed the title “Theta-Omicron Alumnus Advisor Emeritus” in April 2022. He bears the designation of Inductee Number One into the Theta-Omicron Chapter Alumni Hall of Fame & our Friend and Advisor for a Lifetime.

Now is the time to rally behind this historic initiative and honor the lasting legacy of Brother Lynn M. Welker. Donate Now!
