When is it?
The SAJ Weekend of Giving will run from 12:00 AM EST on Friday, March 28th, to 11:59 PM HST on Sunday, March 2nd.
How do I donate?
You can make a gift online at SAJGiving.com between February 28 and March 2nd. When the campaign is live, you can click the "Give Now" button at the top of the website.
You can also mail a check to the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund at 1610 Scottsville Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22902, prior to the event.
How can I get credit, if my company is going to match this gift?
Email bradley.bailey@hq.kappasigma.org, that your company is going to match your gift, and we will apply that during the weekend. Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund does accept corporate matches, if you have any questions or to set up a new match, contact Bradley Bailey bradley.bailey@hq.kappasigma.org. Chapter & Ambassador Incentives
100% District Competition - The district that has 100% undergrad participation, with the highest amount of money raised, will receive a $500 bill credit per Chapter.
Ambassadors who raise $2,500 or more will receive Limited Edition Kappa Sigma apparel.
To receive 10 FACE points, a Chapter must meet its SAJ Giving Goal based on the number of all-time initiates.
Under 250 Initiates - Goal $1,000
250 - 500 Initiates - Goal $2,000
500 - 750 Initiates - Goal $3,000
750 - 1000 Initiates - Goal $4,000
1,000 + Initiates - Goal $5,000
5 Bonus FACE points for any Chapter that reaches 100% Undergraduate participation. This includes all active Members and Pledges donating a minimum of $10.34.
The Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund will contribute a $250 donation to the Top 25 Chapters based on money raised. (Chapters must raise $5,000 to be eligible)
What does an "Ambassador" do?
Ambassadors are brothers who are leading the way during the SAJ Weekend of Giving! They are being asked to share information about the event and promote it to their networks of Brothers. Becoming an Ambassador allows you to create a custom donation link for your Chapter Scholarship Fund and gives you access to social sharing links, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Each ambassador who raised $2,500 or more will receive a limited edition Kappa Sigma Apparel.

iPledge is a revolutionary, standard that is focused on volunteer and alumnus development. Launched in 2019, iPledge works to provide a road map to ongoing alumnus involvement in Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Brothers who sign the iPledge Commitment Contract are pledging themselves to:
Follow Kappa Sigma on all social media platforms.
Pay their Alumni Dues.
Mentor an undergraduate.
Become a Kappa Sigma volunteer.
Become One of Jackson’s Men within 5 years.
iPledge seeks to bring into practice Kappa Sigma’s belief that membership is “not for a day, or an hour, or a college term only, but for life”.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Contributions to the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund are deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes to the extent that the IRS will allow it. No goods or services were received in exchange for your gift. The Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund is established under 501(c3) of the U.S, Internal Revenue Code. Please consult your tax advisor concerning the deductibility of any donations.
How can I set up a matching gift/challenge for my chapter?
If you would like to set one up for your chapter, please email SAJ@hq.kappasigma.org with the details of your gift. All matching gifts and challenge donations are pledges and will be updated and collected following SAJ Weekend of Giving. Matching gifts and challenges are a great way to drive support from your chapter brothers! Matching gifts will match donations dollar for dollar up to a set amount, and challenges can drive # of donations or # raised before a challenge unlocks your donation(s).
What will my donation fund?
100% of all donations made on Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving will be applied to the donor's Chapter Scholarship Fund of choice. These funds enable generous supporters to direct their scholarship assistance to brothers in every chapter of Kappa Sigma!
Since 1947, the Endowment Fund has donated over $7 million to Brothers, demonstrating excellence in academics, campus involvement, and fraternity leadership.
