#SAJGIVING HAS ENDED BUT THERE IS STILL TIME TO MAKE A GIFT HERE!
Delta-Omega (Winston-Salem NC)
Support Kappa Sigma in Winston-Salem, NC

This Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving, we're asking you to make a tax-deductible donation to support a cause near and dear to the Delta-Omega Chapter– the creation of a new Scholarship-Leadership Award named in honor of Brother Lanny Wadkins, Jr.. 100% of your gift, in the amount of $10.34, $50.34, $150.34, $340, $3,400, or $34,000, will help fund this special scholarship.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to establish a permanent $2,000 annual Scholarship in Brother Wadkins's name that will benefit a Delta-Omega Chapter Brother every year in perpetuity. In the event Delta-Omega does not reach the $50,000 threshold during the Weekend but reaches $25,000, it will automatically create a $1,000 annual Scholarship-Leadership Award. All amounts raised shy of $25K between or over $50K will be directed to the existing Chapter Scholarship Fund to benefit Delta-Omega undergraduates.

Lanny Wadkins, Jr. was initiated into the Delta-Omega Chapter of Kappa Sigma at Wake Forest University in 1970. As an undergraduate, he demonstrated the values of Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service that define Kappa Sigma. His time as an undergraduate played an instrumental role in shaping his character and leadership skills, traits that he carried with him throughout his professional and personal life.

Brother Wadkins built a legacy of excellence in golf and leadership, both as a collegiate athlete and throughout his professional career on the PGA Tour. A respected figure in the sport, known for his dedication, expertise, and commitment to mentoring others. His passion for the game extended beyond playing—it was about fostering camaraderie, discipline, and respect for the sport. Beyond golf, Lanny was a man of strong character and integrity, known for his unwavering support of his family, friends, and Brothers. He is a mentor and a leader, embodying the Kappa Sigma principle of lifelong Brotherhood.

The Lanny Wadkins, Jr. Scholarship-Leadership Award will be given annually to a Delta-Omega undergraduate member who excels in scholarship, leadership, and community service, all of which reflect the example Brother Wadkins has provided.

Now is the time to rally behind this historic initiative and honor the lasting legacy of Brother Lanny Wadkins. Donate Now!
